Privacy notice
Last updated: May 2026. This notice describes how Elina Tongieva (“we”, “us”) processes personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nDSG) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Data controller
Elina Tongieva, Personal Coach
Zurich, Switzerland
Contact: etongieva@gmail.com
2. Data we collect
- Booking form (Cal.com): name, email, time zone, and any message you choose to share when scheduling a Strategic Session.
- Email correspondence: content you send us directly.
- Coaching session content: notes and outcomes produced during paid engagements (treated as strictly confidential).
- Technical data: IP address and minimal server logs required to operate the website securely.
3. Purposes and legal basis
We process your data only for the purposes below and on the following legal grounds:
- Responding to enquiries — performance of pre-contractual steps at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR; Art. 31 nDSG).
- Delivering coaching services — performance of the contract.
- Operating this website — our legitimate interest in a secure, functional site.
4. Confidentiality
All content shared during coaching sessions is treated as strictly confidential. Notes are stored securely and never shared with third parties without your explicit written consent — except where disclosure is required by Swiss law. Sessions themselves take place over Zoom, so the conversation passes through that platform in the same way any video call does; see section 6.
5. Retention
Booking enquiries are kept for up to 12 months from the last interaction. Records related to engaged clients are retained for 10 years as required by Art. 958f of the Swiss Code of Obligations. Coaching session notes are deleted within 24 months after the engagement ends, unless you request earlier deletion. Technical logs are rotated within 30 days.
6. Recipients & processors
We work with carefully selected processors under appropriate contracts:
- Hosting & statistics: Vercel Inc. (USA) — site delivery via a globally distributed edge network, and cookieless traffic and page-speed statistics (see section 8).
- Email: Google Workspace — correspondence.
- Video calls: Zoom — all coaching sessions and the Strategic Session are held online over Zoom, so the call itself passes through their service.
- Messengers: WhatsApp and Telegram — only if you choose to write there, including the contact between sessions offered in the programmes.
- Scheduling: Cal.com — to manage Strategic Sessions.
- Domain: Reg.ru — registrar for our domain.
Transfers outside Switzerland/EEA are safeguarded by Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may also withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
To exercise your rights, email etongieva@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, for EU residents, your local supervisory authority.
8. Cookies & analytics
This website sets no cookies — none at all, not even “essential” ones. The only thing written to your device is a single entry in your browser’s local storage recording the answer you gave in the cookie banner, so you are not asked again.
Statistics only after you accept. If, and only if, you press Accept, this site loads Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights (Vercel Inc., USA). Both are cookieless: they store nothing on your device and do not follow you across other websites. What they record is the page visited, the referring source, an approximate country, the device and browser type, and page loading speed — aggregated, with no advertising profile and nothing sold. If you press Decline, or simply ignore the banner, neither script is ever inserted and nothing is measured.
To withdraw a previous acceptance, clear this site’s data in your browser; the banner then appears again. If your browser blocks local storage, the choice cannot be remembered and you will be asked on each visit — until you accept, nothing is measured.
Booking widget. The pages that offer a booking calendar — the home page and the Strategic Session page — embed a scheduling widget from Cal.com, which loads as soon as the page opens and independently of the choice above, because the page cannot show a calendar without it. Cal.com therefore receives your IP address and browser details and may set its own cookies inside its part of the page. Their privacy terms apply to that; nothing from it is passed to the statistics described above.
9. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures — HTTPS everywhere, least-privilege access, encrypted storage — to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse.
10. Changes
We may update this notice to reflect changes in our practice or applicable law. The current version is always available on this page.
